The mission of MORE GOOD is to create a compassionate community for intellectually virtuous learning about the God and Good News of the Bible that brings together people whose lives have intersected with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Christian thinkers with a Biblical worldview who love the Latter-Day Sainted community.

The three-fold vision of More Good is to create a space of discovery and learning for Bible-curious people to experience reorientation, renewal and be equipped for good responses to the timeless wisdom and beauty of the Old and New Testaments.

Hi, I'm Lucie Clarke
I’m Lucie Clarke! I was born into a seven-generation family legacy of belief in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I’m a talker and a raving fan of the Bible and old things made new. Although I am now an evangelical follower of Jesus and no longer a member of the LDS Church, I love the people who have been placed in my life within the broad array of the LDS experience. As someone who loves exploring the strangeness and counter-cultural beauty of the Bible AND creating connectedness with people regardless of their worldview, I want to step into the vacant space in our shared Latter-Day Sainted reality to create community that explores, examines, and encounters new “aha’s” in the Bible together (NOTE: when I say “CONVERSATION,” you are absolutely right to assume that as a person whose life has been significantly shaped by the LDS experience, I find arguing, bickering and badgering to be totally repellant. All in favor? Yes, I see all those hands☺ ). This brand-new community concept embodies my hope that while disagreements exist among us as a group of unique individuals we won’t stop at simply declaring our common value of “all are welcome,” but move toward truly embodying this value in humble, curious, and compassionate actions. Being part of a mixed-faith family now, I have experienced the way that the Bible can create a living and healing bridge for insight sharing and relational-renewal between Latter-Day Sainted people as well as with our Jesus-loving neighbors who can’t wait to explore the Bible with us.
